Common questions

Where are my boards stored? Your personal web board saves to your account, with a copy in your browser. Personal Mac boards stay on your Mac; open their folder from Settings ▸ Boards and storage ▸ Show in Finder. Shared boards use separate cloud storage and invited access.

How do I move my boards to another Mac? Choose Settings ▸ Boards and storage ▸ Export… to save your personal boards in one file. On the other Mac, choose Import… or drop the file onto Broadser. Imported boards are added without replacing existing boards.

Can I get a deleted board back? On Mac, restore a board from Trash in Home before it's emptied or the retention period ends. You can also restore one of the last 14 backups from Settings ▸ Backups. On the web, ⌘Z undoes recent board edits; Delete my board data can't be undone.

A page on my board doesn't load. The web app displays saved screenshots or source links. Open the source link to read the original page in a new tab. On Mac, pages load directly when you're online, subject to site access rules and compatibility. Reconnect and retry if a page is offline.

How does Broadser for Mac get updates? The App Store version is updated by the App Store. The version from this website checks once a day and installs a new version when you quit; Broadser ▸ Check for Updates… checks now.

How do I delete my data? The Privacy Policy explains storage and deletion, and the Terms of Use cover account and sharing responsibilities. Use the form below to request account deletion.

How do I export or remove a saved view? On Mac and the web, in Privacy settings, choose Download account information for your account records and owned selected-content snapshots. Use Delete saved view… in its sharing panel to remove that cloud copy. Your source board remains. See Security and privacy for controls and limitations.
